On Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th November 7-8pm, the club will be running defibrillator training at the hub as part of the regular training sessions.
Club member Adam Prebble will be demonstrating using practise machines how they operate and key considerations in an emergency. Defibs do tell you what to do, but we feel that this extra training is beneficial to be confident in the event of an emergency and save critical minutes in treatment.
He will take groups of 12 at a time and demo the kit and talk through how the hub one operates, so please train as normal and you will be invited to dip out for 10-15 mins to have this training. You are welcome to pop down if you do not normally train, and any juniors in the earlier sessions are also invited to attend at 7pm on those days.
If you cannot attend but want to know more, the British Heart Foundation offer a great free course online: Found Here
